This money was collected in loving memory of William Proudfoot 01/09/44 -11/03/2017. Billy was a life long lover of his native port of Sunderland and the ships he helped to build, and the tugs that pulled them in and out. He supported the RNLI who selflessly give their time and risk their own lives to keep our precious coastline safe. He would be proud to be part of the next new lifeboat bearing Andrew Cantles name.
